May 2011:

May was a fun month, but boy-oh-boy was it hot outside! Things are heating up nicely and I think we will be burnt rubber in June. Besides the heat, BC4 clubs were busy shining up the cars & trucks and showing them off at various events, and even running them at Panama beach Raceway.

April 2011:

April was a very busy month, with several well-organized car shows all over the Southeast. The weather was excellent and the car scene was alive! Freeport Cruisers entertained us at the always beautiful Freeport Sports Complex.

March 2011:

Oh my, what a busy time of year! Sooo many cool car shows to visit, so little time to see them all. Friday Fest was super busy!

February 2011:

I guess all we can talk about still is the weather. What can I say, this time it is all rain at first but then...beautiful weather and a great start to the 2011 show season with the Florida Mopar show.

January 2011:

So far the weather is nicer in January than December. It was just too cold here in the panhandle to enjoy the outdoors, including working on the cars. I wonder what winter will hand us?

-2010-

January 2010:

The 2010 Auto season in Bay county has started and has several events set and ready to roll. With the diversity of the 13 BC4 clubs, you are sure to find a community event hosted by us, for you, the auto enthusiast to enjoy. Brrrrr, turn the A/C off pa-pa-pa-please.

February 2010:

Not too much news worthy items to report on, other than the remake of the Friday Fest rules and layout. The displayed vehicles have been moved around and the event grounds have grown. And there is a new VIP Area set up in the Park, with live music. Brrrrr, it is still cold.

March 2010:

Friday Fest is back! March 5th is the first FF of 2010 and we welcome you to come on out and visit historic downtown Panama City.  Check out the cars, trucks and bikes, tasty treats, vendors, kidszone and more. Shoppes stay open late and offer  specials.

April 2010:

Ah, the weather is really shaping up now.  Not only do we have several "show" events, we get to burn up the track against each other. What fun it will be! And don't forget about Friday Fest fun.

May 2010:

May brings about a busy month of shows and cruise-ins to attend and the celebration of many successful fund raisers finished for the year, like Tricked Out Car Club's School is Cool event.

June2010:

Summertime fun is abound, which means some serious heat to contend with. Bring those fans and canopies to cool off under. You are gonna need them!

July 2010:

The year is 50% complete and the show season is 60% complete! Come on out to a BC4 club event and help us help the community! So much to see and do! Check the calendars and join us anytime!

August 2010:

The heat of summer is still upon us, as is Cruise-Ins. Hope you can check one out.

September 2010:

Ah, the end is summer is upon us, and so is the End of Summer Showoff by Tricked Out Car Club. Annual event held at the world's best beach club...Spinnaker! Lots of other auto events still ongoing, so the auto season is far from over!

October 2010:

Spooky times are here, and several BC4 clubs are gearing up from Florida Mopar's Trick or Trunk. Bring the kids for candy and costume contest.

November 2010:

For local auto enthusiasts, November makes us think of turkey and Project 25, the Bay County Sherriff's Office charity toy drive for area kids. The auto portion is Project 25 is hosted annually by American Muscle Car Club. Last Friday Fest of the year as well!

December 2010:

Brrr! Who turned the A/C on? Is this Panama City or the north pole?

 Track Fun

The clubs within the BC4 enjoy rolling to shows and events, and up to the local dragway for some friendly "horsepower comparisons."

With 2012 off to a strong start, we welcome the new name to Breakway Dragway...Panama Beach Raceway! Visit their new website and see the changes.

For over 42 years the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bay County have been in the forefront of youth development, working with young people from disadvantaged economic, social, and family circumstances.

The BC4 actively supports the Boys & Girls Club and we hope you will too!
